Curry in a used bookstore: shocking hot and spicy keema! A very popular curry store open only on weekdays! A curry shop on borrowed time! Taniguchi Curry Kitahama station 7 minutes walk from Kitahama Station. Taniguchi Curry reigns as a famous restaurant in the Kitahama area, a fierce battleground for curry. Taniguchi Curry is famous in Osaka for its "ma-rental" style of curry. (A style of curry restaurant that "borrows" a restaurant that is only open at night and closed during the day to serve curry.) Taniguchi Curry is a representative of this style of curry restaurant. It is usually a used bookstore? Therefore, they are only open for lunch. It is also not open on weekends and holidays. It is said to be a "phantom curry" that is only open during limited hours. Therefore, it is quite crowded. Even if you visit before the restaurant opens, it is not uncommon to find a long line of customers already waiting in line. When I shifted the time and visited the restaurant after 1:00 p.m., there was no line. I wondered if the restaurant had been sold out, but to my surprise, I was able to get in just in time. Moreover, the hot and spicy pork belly keema curry, limited to 10 servings, was still available, a rare stroke of luck in recent years. I struck a gut-punch in my heart. By the way, the restaurant has a mountain of used books, giving it a very retro feel. It was like stepping back in time to the Showa period, The atmosphere is unique, and if I may say so myself, it is more atmospheric than most cafes. And when you enter the restaurant, the smell of delicious curry spreads through your nostrils. Ordering menu Hot and spicy pork belly keema curry (limited to 10 servings) 900 yen The aroma of spices rises as the dish appears in front of you. The great thing about this curry is that it is a spice-oriented curry with a rich flavor. Spiced curry is often too much emphasis on spices and lacks richness. It was Watanabe's curry that broke that concept. However, this Taniguchi Curry has more spice and curry elements than Watanabe Curry, but it also has a full-bodied flavor. Is it the spiciness of the hot spices mixed with the pork belly fat that gives it a mellow flavor and richness? Has the keema curry created the perfect balance? The sweetness of the pork belly fat spreads first, and the spiciness of the spices & hot sauce comes up later. The spiciness appears later on the tongue. The pattern of sweating when you realize you are sweating applies to this curry as well. The curry is not too watery for a keema curry and has a paste-like texture, making it easy to eat. Quintessential, fantastic curry. This curry is a must-try for curry lovers. It is worth taking a day off from work to go there. I am also interested in the main curry, and I have a happy worry that I want to try the hot and spicy pork belly keema curry again. The level of spice curry in Osaka is very high. Especially in this area, there are many famous curry restaurants, so I will visit more and more. Thank you very much.

A curry shop open only on weekdays. Customers lined up even before the restaurant opened, and when it opened, customers arrived one after another. Many businessmen. This curry is delicious! It's a little spicy and I can't stop eating it! Weekday only. I want to come again.
