Made with high quality, fresh Maremma sheep's milk and pressed with Tuscan grapes which give the cheese its distinctive purple rind. Fruity, earthy and creamy.
With a relatively mild blue taste, a long creamy finish and a unique lactic flavour from fresh buffalo milk.
The "Grand Reserve" 36-month is bold, powerful and textural. The typical aromas of younger maturations leave room for much more complex and marked scents of wood, smoke, spices and citrus.
This Taleggio has a distinct nutty and meaty flavour with just a hint of salt. It works well in salads and is perfect for melting.
