Toraya Tsuchu-an

This restaurant is renowned as one of the most famous Japanese restaurants in Tokushima. The owner, Koji Iwamoto, received his training at the famous kappo restaurant "Kitcho" in Arashiyama, Kyoto, under the tutelage of the late Teiichi Yuki, and then renovated his family home, "Toraya Ryokan" to open the restaurant. The dishes served in the rich natural environment are all exquisite and full of flavor, mainly using local products of each season.
