Un-oaked Malbec from 25+ year old vines blended with 10% oaked wine from Montelagaro, a great joint venture between Walter Bressia of Argentina and Paul (Pablo) Boutinot of Stockport.
Sourced from Nieto’s 40 year old vineyards in Lujan de Cuyo, aged in oak for 10 months.
Grapes are grown in the Finca Rio Seco vineyards at 1750 metres above sea level, no oak ageing and all about pure, juicy Malbec.
Winemakers Santiago Mayorga and Roberto Gonzalez select the best grapes from their 40 – 45 year old vines, then age in French oak for 18 months.
Limited production wine from Chakana’s Agrelo property, aged for 24 months in a new French oak. 6 months in bottle before release, this is a wine that has great complexity and structure.
From a small, perfectly formed winery near Tupungato with grapes from the best sites in the valley, this wine is one of Argentina’s finest Malbecs and has the awards to show for it!

Sourced from Nieto’s 40 year old vineyards in Lujan de Cuyo, aged in oak for 10 months.
Grapes are grown in the Finca Rio Seco vineyards at 1750 metres above sea level, no oak ageing and all about pure, juicy Malbec.
Winemakers Santiago Mayorga and Roberto Gonzalez select the best grapes from their 40 – 45 year old vines, then age in French oak for 18 months.
Limited production wine from Chakana’s Agrelo property, aged for 24 months in a new French oak. 6 months in bottle before release, this is a wine that has great complexity and structure.
