Limited to 6 persons per day! This course allows you to enjoy Nara's ingredients and Nara Totsukawa Jibie Juku's special gibier. Sake pairings will be provided for each dish, mainly those grown in Nara. Deer, wild boar, and many more types of gibier are available for those who want to enjoy them! For those who want to enjoy a variety of wild game, we also offer an a la carte menu filled with the playful spirit of the owner, Ida. You can eat as much as you like for free until you are satisfied. Please enjoy gibier and the Nara region to your heart's content.
The dishes are crafted by the chef, Ida, combining the game meat that arrives that day with seasonal ingredients from Nara, so let me introduce one example. Sukiyaki made with deer meat from the game meat school. The soy sauce used is from Katakami Soy Sauce, a natural brewing company in Nara. It is a soy sauce made from Nara-grown soybeans, free from food additives and unadjusted, which pairs perfectly with the lean deer meat.
We offer a pairing of dishes with a selection of fine products from Nara, not limited to types of alcohol such as sake, wine, and craft gin.
