Each sweet potato from Oita Prefecture, 'Beniharuka', is carefully washed, steamed with the skin on in a steam kettle, then further baked in a pot to bring out the sweetness. A dorayaki sandwich made with homemade red bean paste, carefully cooked with Hokkaido-grown 'Ogura' azuki beans since the founding of the store, and honey added to the fluffy baked dorayaki skin. This is a specialty dorayaki from Kikuya.

A baked confectionery wrapped in pie crust with red bean paste mixed with crushed walnuts. The 'Bondia' features a buttery aroma, the texture of walnuts, and a rich flavor that is not too sweet. It was created in 1978 to commemorate the sister city relationship between the city of Aviero in Portugal and Oita. 'Bondia' means 'good morning' or 'have a good day' in Portuguese.
