Upon entering the restaurant, the scent of wood spreads, and the spacious seating arrangement makes it very calming. Watching the fish being prepared over the counter has a live feel to it, and I couldn't help but be captivated. The grilled bonito is thick and fragrant, with umami spreading throughout my mouth. The appetizer carpaccio has a refreshing citrus aroma and crisp vegetables that pair perfectly. I was able to enjoy the tender red beef hamburger and even the rare Tosa Jiro cuts, all of which were impressive. There is also a rich selection of local sake from Kochi, making the pairing enjoyable, and I felt happy until the very end.

I visited Minami for the first time in a long time. I ordered nikuten and pork balls. The nikuten was semi-circular, with potatoes and tama-konnyaku protruding from the batter, and the sweet and spicy seasoning was delicious. I topped the pork ball with bonito flakes and aonori seaweed afterward. The rice was delicious with sticky glutinous barley. The ice cream we were served at the end of the meal was also nostalgic and delicious. Thank you very much for the meal.

The restaurant is always full, so this time, after making a reservation, we visited with three family members. We had the service lunch. It was very delicious. I would like to visit again.
