Teradomari Chuo Suisan Marunaka is highly regarded as one of the must-try seafood restaurants in Niigata. It captivates visitors with its fresh sashimi, seafood bowls, and fried dishes. The live oysters and grilled nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch) are particularly unique to this region, and the seasonal menu offers new delights with each visit.
This is my favorite restaurant where the service is always excellent, no matter when I go. Everything is delicious, but the kalbi is exceptional. It's a taste I want everyone to try at least once.

Umikazetei Teradomari Nihonkai is an accommodation that impresses with its fresh seafood dishes and heartfelt service. The attentive service shines as it provides guests with a relaxed atmosphere and smiles. The quality of the seafood is exceptional, with fresh sashimi and luxurious dishes that leave visitors in awe. Additionally, the establishment features spacious Japanese-style rooms and hot springs, allowing guests to enjoy a comfortable and pleasant time.
Located on the second floor of the market, the aroma of grilled food at the storefront whets the appetite. They offer a variety of dishes such as tuna bowls, two-color bowls, and grilled fish set meals, all of which stand out for their freshness. In particular, the grilled mackerel with the bones removed was perfectly fatty, easy to eat, and I really liked it. The set meals come with miso soup made with blue crabs, vinegared dishes, pickles, and small side dishes, each of which is delightful. At the storefront, they also grill sweetfish, turban shells, oysters, and scallops, and the taste of the white fish roe with shiso was unforgettable. The red snow crab I ordered was delivered fresh, not frozen, allowing me to fully enjoy the meat from the body.
