There are both counter and tatami seating, and it's nice to be able to choose your favorite seat based on your mood that day. The milky white soup of the comtang is rich with the umami of beef bones, and there's also the fun of adjusting the salt and pepper to your liking. The sundubu jjigae can be adjusted for spiciness, making it delicious enough to keep you going until the end, even while sweating. With the friendly service from the owner and the quick delivery, it was a wonderful lunchtime that satisfied both the heart and the stomach.
I was surprised by the volume of the tonjiru (pork miso soup). The rice balls were also larger than I expected, but they were delicious. The side dishes served on small plates were also tasty. I thought the portions might be too much and wondered if I could finish it, but I cleaned my plate. Even though I was full, I didn't feel heavy in my stomach and was very satisfied.
