I had the Himi beef grilled meat set for lunch, along with heart and beef diaphragm as a la carte items. The quality of the grilled meat was so impressive that I wondered if it was okay to eat it at this price. The offal was also fresh and of good quality, and both had excellent flavors that I thoroughly enjoyed. I would like to visit again the next time I go to Toyama.
The interior is comfortable, and the staff is very pleasant. The sashimi of surf clam is particularly impressive, with a strong umami flavor. The kelp-marinated flounder and horse mackerel sashimi are also delicious. The fried flying fish is light and flavorful, making it perfect as a snack. The grilled red squid is tender and aromatic, which was satisfying. The vinegared kabuto and yam dish has a beautiful layering and enjoyable texture, and the tokoroten has a refreshing taste.
The restaurant staff was very friendly, courteous, and comfortable, although most of the customers were locals, probably due to the situation.
We were very satisfied with our meal, which included fresh sashimi of various parts of yellowtail, yellowtail radish, yellowtail shabu-shabu, grilled yellowtail with salt, offal, and a variety of other dishes that "only a restaurant can provide"!
Well, I'm still eating all over the place.
Let's take a look at the Toyama section!
Tottori - Kyoto - Fukui - Kanazawa
If you've made it this far, you've made it to Toyama!
The goal is, of course, Himi's cold yellowtail!
From Kanazawa to Himi
I checked to see if there was any sightseeing.
I found out that there is a Karakuri Clock from the cartoon "Ninja Hat-torikun".
I guess I'll go there 😆 When I got there, there were a lot of people!
Wow, what a lot of people!
What? No?
They are lined up in some kind of store.
There's a sign on the clock.
"Canceled during snow season.
No way!
Next destination
Heading to Himi Banyagai 🚗💨 Wait 🤔
What was that crowd 🤔
U-turn🚗💨 What? What? There's quite a line...
Ramen shop?
I parked my car and went to see.
I don't even know the name of the restaurant...
I look up "Himi Ramen" on the food log.
It's a ramen shop with a rating of 3.92!
And it won the Bib Gourmand!
You'll have to wait in line 😆 Himi Niboshi Ramen 800 yen!
The ramen appeared without any ingredients on it first.
The aroma of niboshi (dried sardines) is irresistible 😆.
The ingredients arrived shortly after!
Aromatic and moderately sweet flavor explosion soup.
The noodles are so soft and crunchy.
This is delicious! Even if you check the food log and Bib Gourmand, it is still very good!
Thanks to Ninja Hattori-kun 🙇.
I'm glad I went!
