Popular eatery known for its healthy kongguksu
Yulchon Hongdae is a specialty restaurant known for its popular kongguksu, with 500-800 visitors a day during the summer. Located near the main gate of Hongik University, the spacious underground first floor is equipped with many table seats. The kongguksu soup, featuring the fragrance of kudzu, is made by freezing and crushing it, giving it a sherbet-like coolness. The noodles have a firm texture and a smooth, slippery mouthfeel.
