Supervised by French winemaker Georges Duboeuf. This is a rich, full-bodied dry white wine with a sense of a new era. [history] Founder Georges Duboeuf was born in the Mâcon region, north of Beaujolais, and demonstrated his winemaking abilities early on with a remarkable sense of smell and taste. He established the company in 1964, starting by selling wine to local restaurants on his bicycle. A lover of Beaujolais, he sought to spread the 'local wine' that was only consumed in his hometown and Lyon to the world, actively beginning his efforts. [location] The Beaujolais region is a lush hilly area that stretches about 55 km north of Lyon. The Georges Duboeuf company is located slightly north of the center of Beaujolais in a place called Romanèche-Thorins. Georges Duboeuf offers a range from standard Beaujolais wines to village wines that are worthy of the Cru du Beaujolais designation from the ten northern villages. [people] There is wine. There are people to drink with. There is joy in sharing time with wine and loved ones. That is truly a happy thing. The French know this joy. Please enjoy this joy at Georges Duboeuf in Japan.
