The beef cutlet lunch looked delicious. The combination of high quality beef fried pork cutlet with demi-glace sauce was novel. The obansai, such as eggplant dengaku and boiled Chinese cabbage, were also gorgeous and attractive. The crispy texture of the beef cutlet and the sweet and sour flavors of the demi-glace sauce were perfectly balanced and enjoyable. Other dishes such as sauteed prawns and Iwate Japanese chicken were also attractive. The pudding was also excellent with its rich sweetness and bitter caramel. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also wonderful, reminiscent of the Taisho era.
