Shizuoka, home to many representative fishing ports of Japan. Our restaurant directly sources seasonal fresh fish just caught from Yaizu Port and Numazu Port, and we serve it prepared on the same day. This is an ingredient that greatly influences the taste, perfect for enjoying in sushi or sashimi.
In Shizuoka, when you say 'hanpen', it refers to this black hanpen, which is a popular food. Made using an entire fish, it is packed with nutrients and allows you to directly experience the flavor of fish. At our restaurant, we lightly grill it to enhance its aroma and serve it with grated ginger. The outside is crispy, while the inside has a fluffy texture, making it a delightful dish. We also have a variety of à la carte dishes available.
