In a sake shop that retains the atmosphere of the Showa era, a cozy standing drinking space unfolds as you pass through the noren (curtain). The counter is designed for a small number of people, and just by sitting shoulder to shoulder with the regular salarymen, you feel like you've blended into the local scene. Holding a chilled Akaboshi beer in one hand, nibbling on gyoza or grilled sausages chosen from the whiteboard brings pure happiness. The yudofu (tofu hot pot) and oden (Japanese hot pot) have a gentle flavor that warms the body on cold days. The owner is friendly and engages in conversation, so you won't feel bored even if you're alone, and the conversation flows naturally. The combination of the traditional atmosphere of the standing bar and the abundance of sake is pleasant, allowing you to enjoy the time without realizing it.
