It is easy to walk from the station, and upon entering, there is a calm atmosphere. There are many dishes made with ingredients from Hachijo Island, and just looking at the menu is enjoyable. I particularly liked the pizza, which has an excellent combination of kusaya and cheese. The island sushi has a perfect balance of the flavor of the marinated fish and the aroma of mustard, making it very delicious. The sashimi each has a strong individual flavor, and the green pea tofu is creamy and has a gentle taste. The salad with prosciutto and fruits, as well as the pureed edamame, are also impressive, making the meal progress pleasantly.
