Our chef expresses the feeling of wanting our customers to enjoy delicious food through carefully selected tableware and vibrant presentation. You can enjoy Kaiseki cuisine featuring fresh seafood from Suruga Bay, with warm dishes served warm and cold dishes served cold. Of course, we also offer Shizuoka local sake that pairs well with the dishes. The menu changes monthly so that customers can savor seasonal flavors. Additionally, you can enjoy your meal slowly in your room. For group customers, we provide a separate dining area.
For customers who want to experience more of the flavors of Izu, we offer a variety of special order dishes, including our famous fan-shaped shrimp. Orders can be placed in advance or upon arrival. *Please note that the high-legged crab is available by advance order only. *Depending on availability, we may not be able to fulfill certain requests (especially for spiny lobster and abalone).

We also pay attention to the ingredients for breakfast, and serve homemade tofu made from Hokkaido soybeans called 'Toyomasari'. Please enjoy it with Tamakusu-en Arai's special sauce. Although it may look plain, we believe you will be satisfied with its rich flavor. In addition to tofu, we also offer dried fish caught in Suruga Bay and rich hot spring eggs. The miso soup, served individually in a pot, is made hot right in front of you, so it is piping hot.
The reputation of Shizuoka's local sake being delicious has become nationwide over the past 12-13 years. In the 1986 National Sake Appraisal, Shizuoka's local sake won multiple gold awards simultaneously, attracting attention, although it was not famous until then. Even now, Shizuoka Prefecture's sake production volume accounts for less than 1% of the national total production volume. The secret behind this sake-producing prefecture emerging on the central stage is said to lie in the abundant and high-quality water and the 'Shizuoka yeast' developed by Denbei Kawamura, the chief researcher at the Shizuoka Prefecture Industrial Technology Center. Please enjoy the pleasant aroma and refreshing smoothness characteristic of sake made with Shizuoka yeast.
