The secretive atmosphere was exhilarating until we entered. As we descended the stairs, a wine cellar and counter opened up, creating a calm space. There were many types of wine, mainly natural wines, and when I expressed my preferences, they selected the perfect glass for me. The seaweed toast, white mold salami, and cheese and fruit platter were all delicious. The mackerel pasta and mukasa also left a memorable taste and paired well with the wine. While reading the messages on the wall, I enjoyed a conversation with the friendly owner, making for a wonderful evening.
It is a calming space that resembles a private home, located deep in a maze-like alley. When you take off your shoes at the entrance and step inside, you find tatami mats and a chabudai (low table), making it feel like you've come to a nostalgic home. The retro atmosphere combined with the sound of the television gives you a sense of traveling back in time. The takoyaki has several variations, and you can feel the attention to detail even in the timing of when it is served. The pasta made with somen from Shodoshima features thick noodles that have a pleasant texture, and it pairs well with island soy sauce, spinach, and bacon. There are also non-alcoholic drinks and original cocktails, allowing you to relax and enjoy even if you're alone.

The restaurant is so popular that it quickly fills up, and I felt lucky to have been able to enjoy my meal at a calm moment.
