After the bonito tataki, of course, comes the sweets!
I was having trouble finding a cafe I wanted to go to because they were closed on Mondays, didn't have cafe use, or their cakes were sold out, but Yuzu-san ( ) helped me find one together and we decided to go here 😣💕 Thank you, Yuzu-san 🥺🙏💓 to Rough Dip ( ), located closer to Tokushima.
Please be careful to choose the right socks because you have to change into slippers to take a seat. LOL!
I was wearing appropriate socks that day, so I was embarrassed when I changed into slippers.
There are many shaved ice items on the menu.
I was curious about the shaved ice with grape? I was curious about the shaved ice with grapefruit, but decided to go for the two types of shaved ice that are only available during the winter season.
I had the sweet potato milk shaved ice with purple sweet potato custard topped with ice cream and anko (red bean paste), and my boyfriend had sweet potato milk shaved ice topped with shiratama (white bean paste) 🍠🐄.
I thought it might be too sweet because of the custard, but it was just the right sweetness. I thought it would be too sweet, but it was just the right amount of sweetness.
The purple sweet potato cream has a strong sweet potato taste. The color is also beautiful.
The black sesame topping was also a nice touch. The sweet shaved ice is complemented by the savory black sesame flavor.
The sesame cookie-like or sesame chips are even better when eaten with ice cream, custard, or sweet potato cream.
Shaved ice is like parfaits, quality is better than quantity.
Rough Dip's shaved ice was just the right amount for me!
I also really like this fluffy milk ice.
I'm not a fan of the coarse, old-fashioned, skinny ice 😅.
Next time I want to try the grape 🍇💕 I was so happy when the lady at Rough Dip complimented me on my bag 😂💓 Shaved ice in winter is not bad 👍
Petit outing in Kochi, a lot of things happened but it was fun! I made another memory: ☺️
Thanks for the long drive, boyfriend 🙏🙏🙏.
Next stop is Tokushima!
Looking forward to it✨
