The food is as delicious as ever. In particular, I recommend the grilled mackerel, beef cheek stewed in red wine, seafood marinated in nanbanzuke, chicken and egg soup, draft beer, and sake. We also enjoyed fresh tuna. I wish there was a similar cosy restaurant in my neighborhood.

We ordered the Marure lunch for 2,000 yen. I was very satisfied with the amount of food: bonito tataki, tempura, sashimi, hamburger steak, fried oysters, salad, miso soup, and rice, all of which were very tasty and more than I could eat.
I visited during a trip to Shiga and had a meal at the counter seats. I had a 7000 yen course. The dishes were fresh and delicate, and all of them were very delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also nice, and it was a good place that reflected the personality of the owner. Both my wife and I were very satisfied, and it became a great memory of our trip. I would like to eat here again when I come to Shiga.

The interior is lively, and you can immediately understand the reason for its popularity. The course allows you to taste various meats in small portions, and the differences in texture for each cut are enjoyable. In particular, the Omi beef zabuton and HAJIME kalbi have a perfect balance of sweetness in the fat, making it easy to eat with rice. There are also marinated harami, hormone, and beef tongue tsukune, so you won't get bored until the end. The kimchi platter, salted kelp cabbage, and even the cold noodles after the meal are well-balanced, and the warm hospitality from the staff was also pleasant.
