Kaisendokoro Mukai

Kaisendokoro Mukai offers four types of Kaisen-don, or "Kaiho-don," a bowl of rice topped with eight kinds of seafood, plus a rare part of the brain, sea urchin, and salmon roe. You can choose from white rice, 23 cereal rice, etc., and can also order with or without gari (pickled ginger) to suit your preference.

In a quiet and secluded Japanese-style space that one would not expect to find in Shibuya, one can enjoy a bowl of rice topped with a variety of seafood, including rare parts of the fish. Located about a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Station, the restaurant appears in a residential area. The restaurant is a Japanese-style space with tatami mats and a window overlooking a beautifully landscaped Japanese garden. The restaurant is open for lunch only, as it is rented only during the daytime.

Opened in September 2019. Opened as a restaurant specializing in seafood bowls with natural tuna as its specialty, it has grown to become a popular restaurant with its carefully selected ingredients and beautiful presentation to the eye.
