The Showa retro atmosphere is incredibly comfortable. The store is filled with old knick-knacks and posters, making it enjoyable just to look around. Water is served in large mugs, and warm tea is served in nostalgic teacups, which is very comforting. The ramen topped with bean sprouts is delicious, loaded with stir-fried vegetables like mushrooms, carrots, and pork, and the crunchy watercress adds to the flavor. The popular set meal comes with a fried egg and meat and vegetables, making it a great accompaniment to rice, and the miso soup has a good dashi, leaving you satisfied. It's also nice to have small side dishes and chilled tofu served, and interacting with the lively staff is enjoyable.
