A cozy izakaya where you can enjoy local Iwate flavors
Sai is an izakaya where you can enjoy dishes made with fresh local ingredients from Iwate. The highly recommended "dashi-maki tamago" features a simple yet profound flavor enhanced by bonito stock, making it a dish you’ll want to savor every time you visit. The restaurant also offers a diverse selection of local sake, including options from Morioka's "Kiku no Tsukasa" and Kamaishi's "Hama Chidori," which pair excellently with the food. The cozy interior allows you to relax as if you were in your second home.

The taste of a high-class kappo restaurant! Rii-no-Ebi Makamo (shrimp dumplings) made with shrimp and dashi (Japanese soup stock).
The shrimp is not tied together, so you can enjoy the flavor of the shrimp straight from the shrimp. Feel the season with the garnish of vegetables grown in Iwate Prefecture.

Eggs from Shiwa Town have a different sweetness and richness! Soft and fluffy "Rii-no-Dashi-maki Tamago (dashi-maki egg)" with bonito dashi aroma.
Omelette is where professionals show their skills, using free-range eggs, which are also popular in T.K.G. (Tamagokake Gohan). The eggs are baked soft and fluffy, using plenty of broth.

A local gibier dish! Kijiji Kone Tsukune Tsukumi (Pheasant Bone Tsukune with Moon Viewing)" with roughly chopped cartilage for a delightful texture.
The prefectural bird "Kijiji" has even more robust flavor than chicken. The tsukune is baked plump and juicy, and finished with a homemade sauce made from "Fujiyu Soy Sauce" from Kamaishi.
