The quality of the base shrimp is very different from other restaurants. They must have a long relationship with a reliable supplier, and the second generation continues to focus on flavor without being commercial. This is rare in this day and age, and must be a struggle to maintain. The first bite of the "fried prawns" is a surprise. Fried shrimp itself is not very appetizing, but there are more rare shellfish dishes than fries to be found here. This is a reliable and trustworthy restaurant that offers local ingredients with integrity, and serves delicious food in a timeless manner.
