Upon entering the restaurant, I feel warmly welcomed even for the first time, which is comforting. The flatly rolled 100% buckwheat soba has a rich aroma, and its sweetness spreads as you chew. When enjoyed with a slightly bitter sauce made from butterbur, the flavor is further enhanced. A summer special, a bowl served with grated daikon, plum, and lemon, is very refreshing and goes down smoothly. The cold tofu in a small bowl also has a gentle taste, making the waiting time enjoyable. When paired with cold sake, it complements well, allowing for a pleasant experience.
