I stopped by this diner along the seaside while running on the Tobishima Kaido. The interior, renovated from a Taisho-era building, harmonizes the warmth of wood with the view of the port, creating a calming atmosphere. From the counter seats, you can see a small harbor, and you can relax and enjoy the sea breeze while waiting. The popular island lemon butter chicken curry combines refreshing acidity with mild spices, bringing a smile with every bite. The topping of island hijiki seaweed softens the spiciness, allowing you to enjoy it without getting tired of the flavor until the end. Many people visit by bicycle or motorcycle, making it a wonderful place where you can feel the local vibrancy.
