I was impressed by the soft texture of the milk type of Junmai Baum, which melts in your mouth. The slightly sweet coating on the outside has a nice crunch, creating an interesting contrast in texture. The cookie-style type has a pleasantly light crispness that makes it hard to stop at just one piece. When warmed slightly in the microwave, the aroma becomes more pronounced, and the dough becomes moist, allowing for a double enjoyment. The curry-flavored rice crackers made with cheese and bonito flakes are mild yet rich, leaving a lingering deliciousness.
