I ordered the tantan nabe, which was my favorite dish. We waited for the pot to cook while enjoying the stewed motsu for chopstick relief. When the cabbage became soft, it was time to eat. The spiciness of the soup seemed lighter than the original tantanmen. The garlic flavor was sufficient, but the spiciness of the pepper and chili pepper was a little lacking. Adding yuzu kosho (Japanese citron pepper), which is provided with the dish, would help to bring out the harmony of the soup.
