Reserved counter seats. You can see the master’s cooking process in the open kitchen. The aged meat that was taken out. Even to an untrained eye, its tenderness is apparent just by looking at it. The service time during lunch was also quick. The master, with a blank expression, diligently carried out his tasks. When I heard the staff's cheerful 'Thank you!' to the departing customers, his expression changed to a smile as if the previous demeanor was a lie. As for the important dish, I ordered the tenderloin steak. When I cut into it, the sensation was unlike anything I had experienced before. It glided in as if defying gravity. Eager to confirm, I hurriedly brought it to my mouth. The tenderness and flavor were the best meat I have ever tasted. The cost performance is unbeatable. The staff's warmth was truly heartwarming, and I have become a fan.

During my transit to Miyako Island, I had lunch. Since I had made a reservation for the opening time, I was able to enter first and made it in plenty of time for my next flight. (I had informed them at the time of reservation that I was in transit, and I appreciate their consideration!) It was a very nice restaurant with a bright and clean atmosphere. I had it rare, but since it was served on a hot plate, it ended up being overcooked for me by the end. I heard that they do not serve it on a plate. That was the only point I personally deducted.

This time it's the highest grade roast. The meat is tender with a moderate amount of fat and can be eaten with just the seasoning. The sauce is also delicious, but the salad dressing is probably shikwasa, which has a strong acidity but is not sour. Many steak houses in Okinawa have soups that are powdery and not very tasty, but this restaurant has clam chowder that is very delicious, and I want to have a second helping.

Also, the atmosphere was calm, and the chef who was the manager was very friendly, so I really felt glad to have entered the restaurant. This is my first visit. I had a 400g filet steak and a 250g locally sourced sirloin, both cooked rare. The meat was delicious. The doneness was also very good at rare. The salad and soup were tasty, and the cleanliness of the restaurant was excellent. True to the name of the restaurant, 'Canvas', there are many paintings displayed inside. My husband liked it so much that he purchased one painting. It's a treasure.

When I visited Okinawa for sightseeing, I was looking for a steakhouse that was close to the hotel and not noisy. I was right to make a reservation and visit. The staff's service was good, and they explained the cooking levels according to the menu. My husband enjoyed the delicious taste of the meat cooked to perfection. I was personally happy that ginger ale was available on the drink menu.

There were paintings hanging in the clean interior of the store. Some items had prices on them, so they might be for sale. Since I was seated at the counter, I could see the cooking well. I ordered a large steak, and the doneness was just right. Also, it might be a common practice in Okinawa, but many places do not let you enter before opening time even if you have a reservation (for example, even if you arrive five minutes before opening). So, it might be better to go a little later.
