A Beloved Local Establishment with a Homey Atmosphere

Founded in 1969, Seiei Sushi is a long-established local favorite run by the second generation, located along Miho Road. Guests can enjoy a variety of sushi made with thick, fresh toppings prepared in the Edomae style in a spacious dining area, featuring ingredients like steamed shrimp and anago (conger eel) that highlight their natural flavors. The lightly vinegared rice and vegetable-rich miso soup are also popular, allowing diners to enjoy a pleasant experience in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Upon stepping into the restaurant, there is a counter and tatami seating, and it is more spacious than I expected. The sushi has thick toppings, with no unpleasant odors, and the freshness stands out. Among them, the plump steamed shrimp and the fragrant grilled eel were the best, bringing happiness to my mouth. The rice is fluffy and light, with a subtle vinegar balance that enhances the deliciousness of the toppings. The hearty miso soup has a comforting gentle flavor that doesn't get boring until the end. In the warm atmosphere reminiscent of old times, I was able to enjoy a satisfying meal slowly.
