I went to the No.1 restaurant in Hakone on my way to Onsen 🙌🙌 The wait time was about an hour🙆🙆 The moment I ate the thick, crispy, fluffy white yaki, it far exceeded my expectations 🙌🙌 We also had a bottle of sake to go with the eel 😍😍😍. The main course, the eel stew, was also of unparalleled quality 🙌🙌 The sauce was not too sweet and the eel was delicious all the way through 🙌🙌! We called at 10:00 AM that morning to request a layaway and arrived at the restaurant around 11:15 AM. We were told there would be a 30-40 minute wait, but we were actually shown to our table fairly quickly. The shiroyaki was moist and fluffy, about 90% steamed and 10% grilled, and went well with the wasabi and soy sauce. The eel stew has a little more broiling, but it is still quite moist and fluffy, and the sauce is a little sweet for a Kanto style dish. Even in the Kanto style, the steaming of the eel is particularly characteristic of this dish.

This was my first visit to the restaurant! First of all, it is a famous restaurant, so I think you have to reserve your eel in advance! I think it is necessary to reserve the eel in advance! Only the eel is on reserve! It is a blue eel for cultivation, but the liver is big and the meat is big too! The inside is soft and fluffy and the bones are nowhere to be found 😅. To be honest, it is a different level of eel! The white broiled eel is also delicious, so why don't you ask for it? The service is very attentive and hospitable. It is a very nice restaurant! The level of service is impressive!

Unagi Tei Tomoei in Odawara Eating log 4.21 Unaju (freshly cracked eel) 4,800 yen Freshly cracked kimo (wasabi and sauce) 800 yen It's been a long time since I've been to Tomoei. I like unaju here best. ❤️ There are no reservations, but you can call to pick up your unaju. If you want to eat shiroyaki and liver, don't forget to reserve them. 💁‍♀️The parking lot is full of people coming from far away, and we waited for an hour 🙂. When you open the lid, you will see thick meaty green eel laid out like this 😍‼️The impact is amazing. Impressed with the first bite 😭💗💗💗. The meat is fluffy and fluffy. The eel instantly melts in your mouth and the rice is left behind... As tender as the finest fillet in meat 👀. You don't feel any bones at all and the sauce is sweet and has a consistency that is firmly entwined with the eel👍. I will visit again this weekend. LOL! There are too many eel restaurants I'm interested in 😑I want to make an expedition.

eel (esp. the Japanese eel, Anguilla japonica) Make a reservation and wait 40 minutes after reception, when you have time to spare ☺︎ The eel stuffed tightly in a stacked box is plump and fluffy. Thick and fluffy ♡ I want to come back to eat again 🥢.

The large and fluffy blue eel is exquisite. It has quite a volume, and if there are leftovers, you can take them home. The liver grilled with sauce is also a dish I definitely want you to try.
