Although it is a standing drinking style, the interior is comfortable, and you tend to linger. It's delightful to enjoy freshly ground, freshly made, and freshly boiled 100% buckwheat soba with each order. The hot soba dumplings have a coarse texture and rich aroma, and when paired with seaweed, the flavor expands even further. There is a variety of snacks, such as crispy soba chips and moist duck breast, which make the drinks go down easily. Sake with a gentle barrel aroma and shochu mixed with soba water are also available, making it fun to compare drinks. I enjoyed the flavor variations with spicy curry cold soba and soba mixed with myoga and salted kelp, and I was satisfied until the end.

The music flowing from the records and the stylish decor combine to create a calming space reminiscent of a hideaway. There is a small charcoal grill on the table, and the experience of grilling sardines and seaweed yourself is enjoyable. The soba chips and fragrant appetizers provided naturally encourage you to drink. The sake, aged in barrels, has a fruity aroma and a mellow taste that pairs well with the thin, firm soba. The creative soba made with figs and olive oil surprised me with its perfect balance of sweetness, saltiness, and texture. After the meal, slowly drinking the soba broth brings a lasting sense of happiness.
