The lunch side dishes are diverse and exciting from the start. The chicken grilled with miso and walnuts is fragrant and the meat is tender. A variety of handmade small dishes are lined up, and the seasoning of the warm omelet was just right. The lotus root shinjyo, namasu, hijiki, salad, and fried eggplant are all carefully prepared and never boring. The thick egg soup is piping hot, and its gentle umami spreads throughout. The flavor is slightly strong, making the rice go down easily, and I felt very satisfied.
