It is located just a short walk from the station and has a casual atmosphere where you can just drop in. The counter is the main focus, with tables in the back, allowing for a relaxed experience. The owner is gentle and a good conversationalist, happily sharing the charms of Okayama. The signature Okayama bara-zushi features sweet vinegared rice topped with thin omelet, marinated fish, eel, and plenty of vegetables, creating a well-balanced flavor. The sushi, sashimi, chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), and clear soup are all crafted with care, and everything was delicious. Even during busy times, the owner checks in on you, showing great attention to detail, and I felt it was a warm establishment rooted in the community.
