A beloved local sushi shop

Takezushi is a neighborhood sushi shop located in Mitaka City, cherished by locals for over 50 years. In addition to sushi, you can enjoy a variety of fried dishes and a diverse menu. Notably, the refillable rice served in a wooden container is a specialty, and the generous set meals are very popular among repeat customers. It's a place you can visit casually and feel at home.

I had sushi for lunch and smiled at the deliciousness of it freshly made. There is a special feeling because they carefully prepare it right in front of you. There are many types of set meals to choose from, including sashimi, mackerel, fried chicken, pacific saury, oysters, mixed fried dishes, tempura, curry, and eel. The restaurant is lively with customers coming in one after another. There is a counter and a raised seating area, allowing for a calm atmosphere. I also feel that it is a long-established restaurant that is well-loved by the locals, and there is parking available.
