I was excited about the black curry, which was carefully prepared right in front of me in a calm space with only a counter. The roux had a wonderful balance of sweetness from the onions and hidden fruit flavors, along with spiciness, acidity, bitterness, saltiness, and umami. The black pepper sprinkled on the rice enhanced the aroma, and the spice stimulation gradually spread afterward. The deep-fried colorful vegetables were crisp and not greasy, pairing well with the curry. The grilled chicken had a crispy, fragrant skin and tender meat that made it hard to stop eating with my spoon. I also enjoyed chatting with the friendly owner, and I was able to enjoy my meal in a happy mood until the end.
