Located in a quiet alley, I felt a thrill the moment I opened the door. I was already captivated by the first appearance of the small bowl and sashimi set. The anago (conger eel) that I grilled myself over the charcoal on the table, when topped with a little yuzu pepper, released an amazing aroma and was surprisingly delicious. The carefully prepared sashimi and fragrant shrimp shinjyo (a type of fish cake) made it impossible to put down my chopsticks. There was a selection of local shochu and sake, making it a joy to pair with the dishes. I was very satisfied to spend a relaxing and delicious time in a calm atmosphere.

It was an exciting moment as soon as I sat down in a hidden gem of a restaurant located in a back alley. I enjoyed grilling the anago (conger eel) over charcoal myself, and I was impressed by its savory aroma and fluffy texture. The meticulous work was evident from the appetizers to the sashimi platter, and the fish, especially cut thick, was plump and irresistible. The shellfish and vegetables served in foil were fragrant with lemon, making them incredibly delicious and hard to stop eating. The selection of local sake was abundant, and I found joy in comparing different types while confirming their compatibility with the dishes. With the warm hospitality typical of a couple running the place and great cost performance, I think this is a place I would want to secretly recommend to my friends.
