In a quiet shop located along a mountain path, you can feel the warmth of the stove as you enter, creating a calming atmosphere. The shop is run by a couple, and it has a simple and warm ambiance. The menu is straightforward, featuring soba noodles and tempura, along with a few other dishes. The hand-made, thin soba noodles are impressive with their slightly rich and sweet dipping sauce. The tempura allows you to enjoy mountain mushrooms and vegetables, and when paired with rock salt and fresh wasabi, the aroma is enhanced. I heard that the grilled iwana (mountain trout) requires a reservation, and it's a place where you can nod in agreement with the satisfied voices of departing customers.
