This is my first time in Nanao to meet a friend who works there. My friend told me I absolutely had to try Kōzushi, so I visited for the first time. It is by far the most delicious sushi I have ever had in my life. Approaching 50 years old, I can't believe there is sushi this good! I have been to many conveyor belt sushi places and high-end sushi restaurants, but this was just incredible. Also, it is surprisingly cheap. When I got the bill, I thought, 'Wait, is this a mistake?' It might sound exaggerated, but the balance of the fluffy rice and the toppings is just perfect. I will definitely go again. Thank you for the amazing meal!

You don't just sit down and have the course start automatically; you need to order the omakase course listed on the menu. The local ingredients are delicious and offer great value for money. In Tokyo, it would cost more than three times the price. On the day I went, the 5,500 yen course included sea urchin, hairy crab sushi, and white shrimp, which was amazing. It's a bit far from Kanazawa, but I will go again.

I was very happy to enjoy the seasonal sushi in Nanao City. I can only go once a year, but it has been over 20 years since I first visited Kouzushi. Even after more than 20 years, I am always impressed by the delicious sushi from Noto and the serious demeanor of the craftsmen who prepare it. Thank you, Kouzushi. I will come again.

Local omakase sushi (red squid, sea bass, kijihata, sea bream konbu-shime, amaebi, bai clam, small shell, southern bluefin tuna, horse mackerel, sea urchin). After several decades of not having had sushi at the counter, I was impressed not only by the ingredients but also by the rice. The amaebi was the best I've ever had in terms of texture and flavor. It was more than the price. Thank you very much.

Kanazawa is proud of its sushi restaurants. The restaurant is favored not only by locals but also by out-of-prefecture food connoisseurs, and has many repeat customers from far and wide. Kouzushi" is indicated in large letters on the signboard, which has an old-fashioned atmosphere. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is not stiff and stiff, but comfortable without a sense of tension. The menu we ordered Omakase 12 pcs. 3,500 yen You can eat a lot of delicious sushi from the Sea of Japan at a reasonable price. I was able to enjoy sushi of a quality that would probably exceed 10,000 yen in Tokyo. The price is quite inexpensive for such a great taste. Moreover, we visited in February in the middle of winter, so we were very satisfied to be able to eat a lot of seasonal fish. The fish is cooked right in front of you, so it's a very impressive experience. You can enjoy not only the food but also the sound and atmosphere. The fish is fresh and delicious. The rice was especially good! Maybe it's the rice or the way the sushi is made, but the rice was especially good ❗ No matter how good the fish is, if the rice is not good, the sushi is not good. I am glad I chose Kouzushi because both the fish and the rice were delicious. ‼️The sake was delicious as well! I grew up in Noto, but after growing up and living in Nagoya, I couldn't enjoy such delicious sushi. ‼️ Thank you very much!
