This calm café located on the second floor of an antique teacup shop is exciting to enter. It features both a Western-style tea space and a tatami tea room, allowing you to enjoy your time seated comfortably, even if you are not good at sitting seiza (traditional Japanese sitting posture). The matcha is finely frothed and has a gentle mouthfeel, pairing well with seasonal wagashi (Japanese sweets). The charm lies in being able to choose your favorite teacup and have it prepared for you, and you can also read about the history and descriptions of the tea utensils, which is educational. A variety of Western cups and domestic and international vessels are lined up, making it easy to lose track of time just by looking at them. The hidden atmosphere of the shop is friendly, and there is no pressure to buy, making conversations about antiques enjoyable.
