Yay! Oysters! 2013,02 Hi! We will have them here again this year! The rental fee for the grilling area is 500 yen again this year! We will rent you a net, gloves, paper plates, oyster scalpels, and disposable chopsticks! It is easy to grill oysters as soon as you arrive! This year, I brought ham and onigiri (rice balls). You can also bring your own food, so it will be even more fun if you bring a variety of things! Oysters will be splashing around, so there is no need to dress nicely! Really, it was a weekday this year, so there was not much traffic! This year's oysters were less plump and less mineralized than last year's. We enjoyed a lot of oysters this year, too. 2012,02 I love oysters! Grilled, raw, fried, or boiled, they are all OK! I went there because they have delicious oysters - Nissei! And here is the oyster BBQ! We buy oysters at Gomi no Ichiba across the street! Freshly caught oysters are sold there! We grill them at this BBQ place. You can buy all the ingredients except oysters here. Prawns, squid, sausages, turban shells, etc. You can also bring your own food, so you can bring onigiri (rice balls) and meat! The fee is 1,000 yen for 90 minutes for up to 6 people per table. Charcoal is ready to use, and the price includes gloves, tongs, oyster scalpels, and paper plates. We started at 10:00 a.m. and the table was already half full! By 11:00, there was already a huge line! If you are going to the event, I suggest you make sure you are ready to start at 10:00! Seasonings: Salt and soy sauce are available. Lemon and ponzu are free, or you can bring something from home! Now, let's start grilling! Oysters, they go wild (lol). Pan and pop! I'll skip the water! And because we do it in a small space, if other people's oysters get out of control, they will be harmed. You should wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty because you will be covered with ashes! But the oysters are very tasty! You can't get oysters like this in Osaka, they are so plump and rich! There is no smell at all! It was delicious enough without any topping! I would like to go back again! This weekend will be even more lively with the oyster festival! Oysters in Nissei were the best~(^-^)
