Located underground on Takeshita Street, this place features a stylish and spacious area as you descend the stairs. The signature dish, katsudon, is topped with thick-cut ribeye that overflows from the bowl, and the crispy coating combined with the moist meat texture is superb. The brand pork, slow-cooked at low temperatures for half a day, is tender even in the lean parts, and the sweetness of the fat fills your mouth. Since it’s a non-closed style, you can enjoy the texture of the coating until the end, and the creamy egg pairs perfectly with the rich broth. The rice is slightly firm and soaked in the sauce, making each spoonful a delightful burst of flavor that brings happiness. You can change the flavor with jalapeños and enjoy it all the way to the end without getting bored, leaving you very satisfied.
