Tapioca drink of your choice @ Sannomiya | Delicious food and happiness♪ Tapioca drink boom all over Japan There are so many different kinds of stores, it's hard to know which one is which! Jia Lei, located in Kagakuko Lane, opened its first store in the Kansai region last December. 20 stores in Taiwan, 9 countries around the world, and the first store in Japan opened in Omotesando, Tokyo. About 5 minutes walk from Sannomiya Station Just after opening on a weekday I was prepared to wait in line, but I was able to get there without standing in line! Lucky me! I am! There's a security guard standing in front of the restaurant. If he's there to maintain the line, that means there's going to be a line! He gave me a booklet of the menu! I hadn't decided what to order, but I'll order what he recommends! Bonsai Tapioca Milk Tea - M600 yen, L700 yen - I chose the M size! Bonsai? The top of the drink is covered with cocoa chips to look like soil, and a little bit of greenery on top looks like a bonsai tree, doesn't it? You can enjoy the crunchy texture. The milk tea is slightly sweet. The aroma is also very elegant! The tapioca is soft and chewy! I haven't had many of them, but this one is my favorite! The tea is very rich. The Alley, Sannomiya, Kobe The Alley 🏅 Food log 3.20 The Alley A popular tapioca store from Taiwan is also in Kobe 🤩. I compared the drinks and I recommend the "Brown Sugar Tapioca Latte" the best! The tapioca is sticky and big, and there is a lot of it! It is the best tasting tapioca I have ever had 🤩. The popular "Royal No. 9 Tapioca Milk Tea" is delicious but light! Recommended for those who like it light ⭐️

We came to the restaurant around 7:30pm on a weekday. There was a security guard at the entrance, but the restaurant was not so full. For a store specializing in tapioca drinks, the number of kitchen staff was quite large and everyone seemed busy. I was a bit surprised because I had an image that tapioca drink specialty stores are popular and there is a long queue, but there are not many staffs because the process of making tapioca drink is small. There was only one cash register, so the customers ahead of us could not decide what to order, and we had to wait quite a while before we could place our order. The restaurant smelled like animals. I decided to take out this time, but there was an outlet at the counter so I could relax. I ordered Royal No. 9 Tapioca Milk Tea without ice. To be honest, it tasted bad. Neither the tapioca nor the milk tea tasted good. In the end, I left the tapioca and drank only the milk tea. I wonder why it is so popular. I will not revisit.
