The cozy Japanese restaurant located in a back alley has a calm atmosphere that is comforting. The specialty, Fukagawa-meshi, is served steamed in a wooden container, and the aroma of the clams wafts up, bringing a smile to your face. Hidden in the mixed rice are fried tofu pieces, which pair perfectly with the umami of the clams. The lunch allows you to choose small side dishes freely, making the variety of flavors, such as tsukudani and flavored tofu, enjoyable and never boring until the end. In the evening, there is a selection of awamori and sake, which can be savored slowly along with creative snacks, adding to the charm. Thanks to the warm hospitality of the owner, who manages everything alone, the dining experience felt even more special.
