When you sit at the counter, the friendly craftsmen greet you, allowing you to relax from the start. The appetizers served as a chef's choice, such as boiled octopus and red snapper, are cut thickly, and with each bite, the umami spreads delightfully. The nigiri, which is slightly smaller in size, has a perfect balance with the toppings, including herring and toro-taku, and the feeling of it gently dissolving in your mouth is pleasant. The style of enjoying white fish in a champagne glass made me smile unexpectedly, adding a playful touch. The set of sake accompaniments, including salted cod roe, karasumi daikon, and whale bacon, offers a rich variety of flavors that make you eager for the next bite. With its hidden entrance and a lively atmosphere that isn't overly calm, it's a wonderful place where you end up staying longer than planned.
