Izakaya with a wide selection of food After leaving Kemuriya & Flower, we wandered around again. We look for a place that can accommodate 6 people with one less. The place is somewhere between Namba and Daikoku-cho, I think. I'm sorry I can't explain exactly where it is because I was brought here by a friend. The name of the restaurant is only today, Shunpei. I looked at the outside of the restaurant and didn't see a name that looked like it, so I asked the waiter. There is a local restaurant called "Today Only", but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with it. There is a counter, tables, and a tatami room, so it can be used in various situations. The menu! There are a lot of things to choose from... Udon, Soba, Donburi, Sushi, Tempura, Nabe・・・・・・ and many other dishes, so you can't decide what to order! I ordered Hamachi sashimi Shimeji mushrooms and squid with lemon butter grilled on the bank of the river Asparagus avocado salad Tekka-roll steamed asari clam with sake Unakyu (eel cucumber) Tempura of Octopus Tempura of eel Zaru soba This is the third one! Even though there are 6 of us, we eat too much... I ordered the hamachi! I love hamachi! I've never had hamachi this color before.... it wasn't my favorite... The Doteyaki was seasoned with miso, and I think it would go well with beer. I wanted to eat white rice! All of the dishes are just good in their own way, and not particularly tasty! It's not that they are all good in their own way. Among them, everyone said the conger eel tempura was delicious! It was softly fried and delicious! I guess the charm of this place is the large number of items! It can be used by one person or a group, and I wonder if it is the ease of use. It was very popular on this day, too! They were enjoying themselves in a lively atmosphere.... I guess many people will be using it for their year-end parties from now on! The last train was coming, so we hurried home...
