The initially served chilled onion soup was refreshing and heightened my appetite. The signature dish, chicken over rice, had a strong flavor from the charcoal grilling, with a crispy skin and tender meat inside. When I broke the runny fried egg on top of the rice, the yolk mixed throughout, creating a creamy taste. The side dishes of mashed potatoes and king oyster mushrooms were also cooked with care, making it hard to put down my chopsticks. The feijoada, made with simmered beans, was packed with ingredients and had a deep richness, which doubled my satisfaction when paired with the rice. The beef curry, with its melting meat and rich roux, kept my spoon moving until the end, and before I knew it, my plate was empty.
