I enjoyed my first sake tasting experience at a sake spot located on the upper floor of a large home appliance store. Choosing a tag that describes my preferences at the reception felt like a game, which was exciting. A specialized staff member served me 5 to 6 cups tailored to my taste from over 100 varieties, and I was surprised by new flavors each time. Since I drank a little at a time from a small cup, I could slowly appreciate the aroma and temperature, and they also provided plenty of water to cleanse the palate. The explanations were thorough, and drinking while learning about the different rice varieties and brewing methods deepened my understanding of sake. The atmosphere is casual, making it easy to drop by alone or with friends, creating a wonderful space that feels like an adult amusement park where you can get lost in enjoyment.
