The moment you enter, there is a calm counter and tatami seating that makes you feel comfortable. The sunken kotatsu keeps your feet warm, allowing you to relax and take your time. The dishes have a gentle Kyoto-style flavor, and you can tell that they are prepared with care. The appetizer is also elaborate, making the drinks flow naturally. You can enjoy the local sake from Ageo, 'Bunraku,' and the deep-fried tofu and Kyoto-style grilled udon with salt broth are very delicious. If you communicate your preferences, they also suggest items not on the menu, and the timing of the dishes being served is perfect.
