You may be surprised at first by the snack bar-like atmosphere in a multi-tenant building, but when you open the door, you will find yourself in a wonderful Japanese space. It is a friendly sushi bar run by a Japanese master and his wife, with about 8 counter seats that are clean and have a nice atmosphere. The soft-boiled octopus (nikogori) and oyster with leek on top are excellent as an appetizer. The oysters are plump and go well with the me-negi, and the thoughtfulness in serving these at the beginning is excellent. The menu is small, but you should definitely order what the master recommends. The beef tataki and boiled flounder are also very tasty, and the nigiri is fresh and the atmosphere is to my liking. A bottle of shochu costs 10,000 yen and it is worth keeping the bottle.
